I am an engineering apprentice and i carry out planned and breakdown maintenance.
I have learnt a lot of new skills since starting my apprenticeship at premier foods including electrical theories and principle, mechanical principles and applying them in the work place and i have also completed a welding course.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship at premier foods. Everyday is different and i get to work on a broad range of machinery and processes.
I feel as though i am valued at premier foods.
I feel as though the organisation could be improved for the apprenticeship. There was a long wait until i got my work clothing and college PPE. I am nearly in my fourth year now and i will be soon going onto shift work and i still haven't received all my tools that i need to carry out my daily taks. I also think the structure could be improved in regards to who we work with and what jobs we do.
I receive a lot of support from college.
I also receive a lot of support from premier foods.
I am extreamly happy with my pay here at premier foods.
There are a lot of opportunities.
