Everyday we had different tasks to complete as a group and individual. Group tasks included giving presentations and coming up with different ideas related to the task briefs. Each student had to complete learning logs to enhance the understanding of the topics we have covered. It was relatively easier with the help of great people around EY
I developed many skills throughout the programme. Being part of the team I enhanced my communication skills by sharing my ideas and listening to other colleagues's opinions. I learned and improved my analytical abilities and research skills.I also learned on how to respond to diferrent situations e.g disappointed customer which developed my problem solving skills
Every single moment I spent at EY was amazing. Tasks were little challenging but there was help and guidance at every step. The environment was very professional just as I expected. I have enjoyed this very much and I can't thank EY enough.I will never forget my time in EY.
We were treated very valued by EY. Staff was very friendly and were keen to answer any questions we had. We were dealt very professionally regardless of our age which was great. From every task we completed we were given a very detailed feedback and how we can improve the next time. It was really helpful to me
Every thing from the start of application to the end of the programme was well- structured. Every event or task started sharply on time and there were no delays at all. Emails were sent to us to let us know what to expect the next day. I was also provided by a brief timetable listing tasks prior to the start of programme.
Students were given laptops to store their work and make presentations. It allowed us to speed up our work and be efficient. After the programme 1-1 mentors were allocated to each mentor for help with studies and career.Other than the mentor everyone I met at EY was well educated about different career paths.
EY is a really supportive employer and there is no doubt that it is one of top 10 employers in the world. They are always open to answer my questions. During interview time, I contacted HR team a lot and they were very friendly to respond to my enquiries
EY foundation offered me a competitive salary which easily covered my travel costs. Other benefits I received included free lunch, laptops and CIMA qualification
Yes there are a lot of opportunities available. Professional people were invited during our programme which enabled us to expand our connection and they also gave students career advice. There are also many events held by EY e.g.alumni events which enables us to reconnect to the staff and meet new members.
Yes
Its an amazing opportunity to get work experience and add on to CV or personal statement. The best part is that the programme is based on wide subjects which mean you can understand everything even if you have no knowledge of certain area.It also offers a professional qualification management and leadership after completing the programme
Just be yourself when it comes to the interview. Dont hesitate to talk about your career and try your best to promote your skills, knowledge and experience wherever you can. During your time at EY its a great opportunity to meet new people and explore more careers. Its always okay to be unsure of what you want to do in future. Hopefully you can get some assistance from people at EY
