Craft fitting tasks, assembly work on aircraft and day relase to college once a week.
Yes I have learnt many new skills such as engineering and assembly skills. I have also gained a national diploma in aeronautical engineering and I am working towards an NVQ in aernautical engineering and a Higher National Certificate in Manufacturing engineering.
I enjoy the programme a lot, the training support is excellent and everyone in the workplace is keen to teach you new skills and put time into my apprenticeship.
I feel very valued at Bae systems as I recieve regular positive feedback from managers and training staff.
The programme is well organised and there is good structure in how the apprenticeship is run, the trianing staff are always helpful and deal with any issues or concerns.
I recieve what I believe to be the correct amount of support and could easily request more if required.

The salary I recieve is very competative amongst other apprentices working for different organisations.
Yes there are a huge amounts of events to get involved in and I am also a part of the ambassador scheme.
