  • 4. How valued do you feel by Aldi?
  • I feel like I am less important then other members of staff and that I’m a burden to my colleges, even though they are helpful I feel like I annoy them because of me constantly having to ask things and sort out visits.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My training provider is supportive of me but don’t fully understand how tight my rotas are and how things need to be organised in advance so I don’t effect the day to day running of the store.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Managers are very helpful however area managers are very supportive and offer seminars at the head offices and one to one conversations if there is any issues.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Aldi apprentice has one of the best pays, we get rises every year obviously if you are on a apprenticeship you get paid less as you are learning witch is understandable. But a apprentice manager does not get the extra money for doing their ‘dep’ hours which I think is unfair as we are management apprentices for 2 years so atleast in your last year you should get the dep hours bonus

    8/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
