I helped out with a Banking and Capital Markets audit, which involved updating some documents in preparation for the audit. We got in at 9:30 and spent most of our time making a powerpoint or doing our self reflection email.
Yes, I have learnt to use Excel and developed my netwrokign skills during the networking meeting on Wednesday, where we talked with a Senior Partner and current apprentices.
I enjoyed it a lot
Very, we were given important work form day one
It was well oganised as we all had a buddy and cousnellor and had a structured week with an itinery given to us on Monday.
They helped us when we struggled with a certain aspect of the work, and explained how best to do it.
They were friendly and helpul towards us and always willing to explain something you dont understand
Lunch is quite expensive in Canary Wharf but it isn't that bad, 3 of the 5 days you get free lunch anyway.
We were only there for a week, so we didnt experience any extracurricular activities available.
