  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed the programme as I was able to take myself out of my comfort zone and put myself in a situation to benefit myself in the future. Moreover, I have really enjoyed the programme as I have met some amazing people from the employees who work at EY as well as the other students who were on the programme as well.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by EY?
  • I feel very valued by EY. This is due to the amazing staff at EY who treated me very kindly and allowed me to feel comfortable in a place where I was quite uncomfortable in at first. I never once received any mean or bad comments about myself from EY and I also felt very involved when contributing to tasks/projects.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme was very well organised/structured as for each day of the programme there were always tasks that were prepared beforehand for us to do whether they were group activities or even individual work which had to be completed to better our skills and knowledge of the working world. In addition, this programme has also provided me a mentor to help me in my future decisions for higher education.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I received a lot of support from the training provider as whenever there was a problem at hand they would always solve it in the most efficient and effective manner. This is due to them never making you fix something or do something that you are not sure of alone as they would always be there to support you or they would always tell you who you can talk to.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received a lot of support from my employer due to them always being available for you to talk to them about something that you are unsure of or something that you are uncomfortable with that you would like them to be aware of. Whether it may be talking to them in person or sending them an email they were always available to help.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary that I have received meet my costs really well due to the programme's salary being quite generous. In addition, if I had to travel to a client site EY covers the expenses of the whole travel. This has helped me a lot as this programme has not only allowed me to acquire many important skills but it has also provided me with a salary.

  • 9. Would you recommend EY to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would definitely recommend EY to a friend as EY has allowed me to develop and acquire many skills which are required in the world of work. In addition, EY has also allowed me to realise that it is not that bad to step out of your comfort zone because if you do step out of your comfort zone and end up not liking it then you would've at least learnt something but for the most part it is most likely for you to enjoy it just like how I have enjoyed my time at EY.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • The tips or advice which I would give to others applying to EY is to try and not be shy and to contribute to what is happening as EY are very accepting of everyone so even if you say something that may not be correct the most important thing is that you contributed to a given task. Moreover, another tip/advice is to not feel pressured to answer a question when being interviewed by EY as I have learnt that it is better to not speak and think about what you are going to say than to just answer a question which is not of standard.
