My work experience at EY was the best. I have never been in a place so innovative in technology yet classical in service and communications. To see how the working life works and to experience the life of a business was truly liberating. The different workshops EY provide give you so much knowledge that can be passed on to further apprenticeships at EY or into university studying and jobs else where. Through these workshops, you take part in different activities that build different skills and abilities. The presentations preformed builds a persons communication skills, confidence and stage awareness skills. My overall experience at EY was sublime. I could have not expected more and asked for more from EY.
During my time at EY, I have learnt new skills, but I have mainly added to them and built them. My communication skills and professionalism skills and presenting skills have been highly built upon. This has only been possible from preforming in front of people on the workshops.
I enjoyed the whole program greatly. I met new people, took part in great activities and took away loads of successful skills. I can strongly say that I enjoyed this whole program.
I feel that I have shown EY that no matter where you live in the UK, if someone really wants an opportunity, they will take it. This should allow EY To push their program to many people over the UK. From this opportunity I feel that I have shown EY many of my skills and comedic aspects that they can use themselves and remember.
The program is well organised and structured. They make sure each break and lunch are on que. The start time of program starts on time everyday and each person leaves on time also.
I received a lot of help from my training provider, on in sight of apprenticeships and university. Generally about apprenticeships at EY after 6th form or after University.
I received a lot of suppor from my employer about other roles after the work experience, such as an ambassador and apprenticeships within the company.
EY was very generous by paying for my transport into London and around London. With the wage they gave me on top of this, the salary package is definitely one of the best by far than most companies.
This work experience offers many opportunities outside the work place because it gives you a value of the working world with many people look for.
Yes
It’s very different to other small companies. It gives a prospective of the working world of a multi national company. I will always offer this to anybody looking for work experience in the bigger firms.
Just be yourself. Don’t act different or act like someone your not. The whole point of EY is to build you as a person. Apply for this no matter your career option, because this is a great experience.
