Mechanical Engineer, working as a fitter on the shop floor to strip and rebuild gearboxes.
Yes, how a gearbox works and how to repair or modify them and read drawings.
Enjoy working on the shop floor with colleagues however could be managed a lot better
Could be valued a lot more than I am as feel like just a number rather than a valued employee.
Poorly structured/organised
Go to college one day a week
Supported by the employer however could be supported more.
Salary is average could be higher compared to other apprenticeship schemes
No you have to organize for yourself
No
Needs a better structure and to be managed better not the apprenticeship I initially signed up for
Not to apply to the Siemens Leeds site as it is a lot different to other Siemens Sites
