For the first two weeks I was taught how to present myself to the corporate world, its stakeholders, and how to improve ourselves and better present our ideas, in the last week, we were placed into varying divisoons, with me in HR.
I learnt how to carry myself, how to project an idea to others, how to retain/satisfy internal and external stakeholders, skills that I improved in was communication, presenting, analysing, etc
I believe it was a very valuable experience and if missed, would be a huge opportunity lost. It exceeded my expectations and how much I thought I'd enjoy it.
I felt like a valued member in my division, as good care was appointed to me as I was new. I recieved great guidance and was explained in depth as to what my task was for a project.
We had to fill out logs explaining what we had learned, and were appointed mentors at the end of the programme that aim to provide you with any help needed by you which is a good support. The programme was organised in a way where I was glad as to what division I was placed in at the end, and how I felt like I fit in.
We regularly send each other emails revolving around my personal statement or UCAS application, providing a great guidance.
There was a lot of guidance, a lot of patience and a lot of encouragement to see through that each and every one of us understood and learned of the corporate world, and the different divisions in a firm, and the other essential aspects of one
The end pay of the programme was highly appreciated and exceeded the feeling of what I felt I was deserved, it did pay up for the end for what me or others had to pay for transportation to reach the office or case study areas
Every now and then there will be an email regarding an opportunity such as explaining your experience or an apprenticeship.
