Every day we were introduced to a new experience and task. There were mainly a lot of team projects as well as pitching involved with the task. We had the opportunity to work shadow and meet with senior managers .
One thing I developed during the programme was the ability to make connections and network.
I really enjoyed the culture and friendliness of the work place.
I felt very valued being in the workplace and employees were respectful and caring .
There was a introduction day where we were called in to meet the other fellow members . We were assisted with support the whole way through and support was always available.THe task and schedule was given to us ahead so we could follow the timetable and knew what to expect ahead .
Personally my provided tutor I never got to meet although she did make the effort but I stopped hearing from her and didn’t have her email to keep up. However any help I needed was still provided with other members who were friendly and made the experience enjoyable.
HR responds very fast when there were any concerns and were understanding.
Travel costs wasn’t an issue with me as I live relatively close but I believe these daily costs were considered within the salary and we were also kindly offered lunch on many occasions.
There are a range of opportunities open to us . I’ve recieved invites for alumni events but haven’t manage to go due to the times clashing with my studies. Generally work experience opportunities are hard to find so being part of this programme was fun and appreciated.
Yes
Joining ey helped me push out of my comfort zone and be apart of a new experience which I would usually shy away from. The experience was far better than I expected and I was able to fit in and make many friends that I’m still in touch with now. The other employees are very Passionate about their jobs and we’re invested in us and cared to answer our endless question. They also help us create networks and uplifted us .
Although the application process may seem long or if the interview seems scary you’ll do fine and it shouldn’t be something to worry about. Be prepared before the interview and make sure you look into the business and why you would want to work with the company .Also paperwork may seem like a lot but it’s a quick process you just have to get it done .
