we do the work for each section to learn about the work done on that section. these include machining, electrical, and fitting. on mondays we do our college work. our projects include a week at outward bound and a week of charitable() work, which we did at st catherines hospce.
i have learnt about the work done in each section. i have picked up skills to make me compitant in each section.
I enjoy the work we do, and the colleagues i work with. the tutors are very competant at teaching us how to do the job. the apprenticeship continues to exceed my expectations.
i feel appreciated and important in my role. i feel that the compan values the work i do.
the work is well structured, but some elements overlap at times. the work is well planned and effective in teaching us what we need to know.
i recieve support in any way i need it, be it with work or with an injury.
The training comes from my employer, although the college work for one day of the week is provided by longridge teaching centre, who bae employ for this role. we also recieve full support from the teaching team.
my salary comfortably covers my living costs and costs for travelling to/ from work.
the company provides a chance to use it's access to a gym on one of the sites, aswell as access to an on-site dentist and medical centre.
