My average day consists off completing my work that is set for each day from setting up customers accounts and logging details into the system, and then when I am free learning new parts of the business. I also have contact with my customers either email or over the phone.
I have learnt so much since starting my apprenticeship, I have gained loads of experience and new skills and became more confident. I know have a widen ICT skills also sending emails making phone calls and I also have a whole new view on the energy world and how it all happens.
I really enjoy my job, I love learning new things and being able to share what I have learnt with my colleagues and I also love the environment and the people I work with. I think apprenticeships are a really good thing because you work while you gain a qualification.
The structure of my program is very good and realistic with the time we have. There is a plan for every month and what stages we should be at. each month there is a progress chart and it show me where I should be at and what I should have learnt by know.
I receive loads of support from my manager, and feel very supported at work and feel very comfortable. she is always there to support me in any way if I need some more training in a certain area or if I don't feel that confident, she will always help.
I receive as much support as I want from my training provider, they are always there to help me with my learning and progression. we also have an E portfolio which has all tasks and training video so we can use them if we every get stuck with are course work.
