I am a Project Management Apprentice. I do 12 month placements in different areas of the company, exposing myself to new experiences and skills. On top of that, I am working towards my project management degree through the scheme.
Many new skills have been developed, from something small like being able to work effectively in a team, to being able to manage and make a positive impact on projects within the business.
Overall, this programme has challenged and stretched me and has allowed me to improve on myself and improve my confidence.
Very well organised, there are multiple individuals looking after different areas of the programme and there is a clear structure of what is expected.
So much support. I haven't had a job like this that provides so much support, whether that be in work or even if i needed support with external 'struggles'.
They are there if i have any queries or concerns.
It is helpful to apply the knowledge learnt to something practical in my role.
There are plenty to get involved in, for example stretch assignments.

This has been a great opportunity to get involved in, BAE Systems (especially the early careers section), are always supportive and looking out for your best interests.
Get involved in everything they are providing. And, just be yourself because that is what they want.
