I have been able to try all different aspects of the business for example in electrical, fitting and machining. this has allowed me to understand the different process and let me see what i enjoy before i choose what i want to learn more about.
since starting my apprenticship i have learnt a lot of new skills. condidering i have never done any fitting type of work before i feel that i am now able to perfrom and follow tasks to the instuctions. it has also allowed me to expand my knowledge on areas i already knew, for eaxmple electrical where i was able to learn the correct procedures to work in a safe and effective manner.
i really enjoy the scheme and would recomend it to anyone,
we are given responsibity which makes me feel i am trusted and allows me to work using my own ideas,
the scheme is well organised, as you always know what you are going to do because the plan is kept to well.
It is well balacned between working individual or as part as a team to learn new skills and the instuctors teaching us.
I feel that i can go to any instuctor and ask for help or advice on how i can improve if needed. or to help me find out where i am going wrong.
more than enough to keep me going.
I play part of the football team which apprentices do outside of work.
Yes
really good scheme where you get along with everybody including all instuctors and other members of staff, you will learn a lot of new skills and there are alot of opprtunities to allow you to do what you want,
be honest.
