My role is focused on the completion of different projects around the business by helping different teams complete work that will benefit the project. Day to day business is carrying out task in the placement you are put in every 4 months, this includes going to meetings, updating and creating relevant documents.
I have learnt how to conduct myself in a business environment in order to gain the best quality work from myself. This could include the communication between different departments and people as well as the quality of work that I have to complete in order for it to be documented.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme as it gives me a vast overview of the business I am working in as well as helping me to network with a majority of the people in the business. this allows me to further my knowledge through day to day work in the business.
The programmed is very well organised as every placement lasts 4 months with all documentation being filled in for the relevant placements to help you progress. there is also a great amount of support should you be struggling and people varying degrees of experience to help you with certain parts of your job.
I receive a great amount of support from my employed if I am worried about work, home or university. they set up regular meetings in order to ensure that we are enjoying and making progress within the business. This allows me to feel supported in the decisions I make to try and further myself.
I gain a lot of support from my trainer as they closely work with BAE to ensure that everything about me is okay and that I am furthering myself. They also support us during university as I receive help whenever I need it about assignments or general work I am struggling with.
My qualification helps me gain a more in depth knowledge of the business I am working in as it helps me understand key information that I can then take back to work to try and implement in my day to day role. this allows me to complete work to a higher quality as I have a better understanding of what I am completing.
Yes there are lots of extra-curricular activities to be involved called Stretch activities. This is where the business will help the local community try to be involved with STEM as they will go into schools to complete practical's. this will give me and the children a greater knowledge of how to work in the STEM industry.
Yes
I would recommend BAE to a friend as it gives you great support to advance in the future as well as helping you to gain the right qualifications to prepare yourself. It also allows you to undertake activities that you would not normally do such as the Stretch activities in the local community.
Make sure that the role you are applying for is the one best suited for you. This will help you enjoy your job even more and allow you to progress at a greater speed as your ambition to learn is greater. This will also make the material that you learn easier to understand in the future.
