Learning new skills and being able to practice them to become a better chef
Yes to both. I can see my progress from before this course and I’m so thankful for everything I have been taught.
Being taught the basic and then having the knowledge to improve after this course is done.
Very well organised and structured. Everything is always ready for us to start training and the course overall is well layed out over the year covering everything needed
A good amount. They tend to leave me to it but if I ask for anything I usually get the help
I have received a good amount of support from my trainer. There’s nothing else I could have asked for
100%. I’m able to do the basics better and even do things in business that I haven’t been taught. I’m also able to teach other that I work with
No
Yes
I would say yes and no. There’s lots of day to day things I disagree with within m&b but these courses are great. I do feel that the skills we learn push us away from the company and into smaller and fresher kitchen as m&b don’t do fresh in any brands
There’s a lot of opportunity within the company as it is so big but it’s very different to the hospitality industry overall
