on a day to day basis I will manage employees sickness and track when they will be returning to work also I refer them to our 3rd party Doctors to be reviewed. I am constantly working with data that is highly sensitive and the data is used to create scorecards. I work on local project too depending on the project depend on the roles I fulfil.
I have most defiantly learnt how to manage time more this skill was key when I first started and is very useful now whilst I doing my studies and I really had to learn how to balance them. A skill I developed was my training technique I had the ability to apply and adapt previous skill in this new working environment.
I enjoy what I do because of the work life balance I am able to have control on ways of working and time management. I believe they're should be social aspect or more of a apprentice network to connect as sometimes it can feel isolated being on a team full of professionals which can be difficult to relate to
MY training provider is well organised and structures I have a time table for the 3 years of my degrees and everything is on an online portal for me to view. My work providers isn't so much I think mainly because of the environment I work in but sometimes feel that there is no structure to my development
I receive a lot of support from form the apprentice team in terms of training and help but I don't receive much support from my manager herself because sometime she is too busy. but when the time is available I do receive enough support from my employer and team.
I receive more support than required I meet with my tutor regular who is supportive and regular online lectures. also my training provider is also accessible by email and phone and usually replies with in 24 hours. Sometime the feedback is a little bit vague but in these situations I just email them and they go into more details
MY qualification links with my role in many ways and although there not directly linked the skill and the information is very much useful considering I work in supply chain it link very much to the field area of work which make it even more interesting to apply or even see how these theory work in practise
No really the business provides many however there not advertise well and it tend to be certain function only which is difficult sometimes and also there isn't really social event for other apprentices on site unless we arranged it ourselfs there for lack in social events. i do believe more networking event would benefit us.
Yes
Unilever has so much to offer its not just about the role you perform but how that effect the business on a bigger scale. There are many oppintunities and I'm sure almost everyone out there unilever has a role for them because the job tittles and oppintunites are endless.
Expect to work hard and put the effort in and expect for it to not be easy but in a rewarding way it is worth the experience and the qualification however may seem difficult when friends are at university partying. The opportunities at the end though are so worth it.
