  • I have different responsibilities which I must check daily- TCW contracts (updating excel sheet), sending confirmation emails, processing orders, dealing with consumer emails, dealing with back orders and anything else that I can help my team with

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have definitely developed in confidence and learnt to think quicker and broader when dealing with customers- different people need different help so I need to be able to adjust to the range of queries. I've learnt to be more organised and manage my work more efficiently

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme and definitely recommend working within this company, everyone is so helpful and welcoming and positive! Always encouraging each other which I find a very necessary thing as everyone should be supporting each other, working as a team not matter their role

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It's quite organised as I have many different things to do so they need to be recorded in my calendar, I structure my days out accordingly based on what I need to do for that day. My coursework also plays a role in the structure as I need to take out time to do it.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support when I need it, they're very helpful and always willing! They don't make me feel like I'm asking silly questions, they make me feel empowered

  • They're easy to contact and I have received good detailed feedback from them.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It teaches me different things within businesses that I wasn't already familiar with/taught. This allows me to look deeper into what I'm doing on a daily basis.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are a lot of social activities to get involved in, there is a gym at one of the offices which all apprentices have access to, the community is very close so a lot of people are meeting up outside of work!

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend working for Unilever to a friend as I think it is a great opportunity, it is an amazing environment to work in and you get to meet amazing people whilst learning new things! Anyone who isn't sure what they should do should look into Unilever apprenticeships as there really is something for everyone, working at different levels and you meet so many people too


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Be yourself, be brave and be determined. If you really want this then you can go and get it, it is really something to be proud of and once you're in the team it is the best feeling!!
