I am an account manager and cofounder of a new business units under DSC global, this is focussing on improvement being made to production line with the use of automation and collaborative robotics. I also look at any production logisitic environment or rework areas that could be utilised to increase performance of staff and improve profitability
Thi training could not have started at a better time - even thou I have taken on this new role with loads to do it is fitting perfectly into my work life. As I am currently doing a business management degree this is helping with my day to day work life - not only is it helping with financials but also over areas such as marketing and account management
the programme is great - the day school is the best as you get to meet people that are in the same situation as you are exchange idea's. the course material is easy to soak in and gives you a structure to work to. - I started at uni when I finished school and did not finish as it didn't suit me however this is working well for me
the structure is very well organised - the website does take a lot of time to get used to as it is difficult to navigate and find information that you want but once you have go the hand of it, it helps to structure your week and work towards the TMA's while learning so much
My employer is completely 100% behind me, when I need to change days to accommodate calls this is easy to do. when there are days I have booked off for study if something comes up that needs my attention I can change the day of study easily and with now issues - my manager also helps if I need any clarification of the business process.
the literature we receive and the day school are all support that is great to have as well as the video's and interactive studying online. I have a learning difficulty and they have offered support - however this could be managed a bit better as I seem to be chasing for information
everyday I am using information that I have received through the study. This is helping me understand parts of the business that I understood on the surface but knowing more about the indepth side of it is helping me to fully understand the reasoning descions get made and why they get made
I do go to a lot of work shows and exhibits in different countries whether that be me selling our service or me going to have a look at the new technology that is coming to the market so we can offer these to our customers, I also travel with work to implement our solutions
Yes
Since I have come into the job I feel completely supported by my Manager, the team I work in is great, I have had the opportunity to present to the corporate board and have travelled around the world with work. in the last year my career has improved and is going in the direction I want it to
be honest, be open to change, be yourself, be inspired. you will get support from you managers and you can achieve so much if you put yourself in 110%. there maybe times that you feel your efforts go un-noticed but there are always people watching and you never know when your opportunity will come
