This experience involved improving our personal skills such as leadership, team work. Also it got us thinking about our role in Deloitte. Our specific interests which we could apply to a job at Deloitte. There were also case studies, business lunches and presentations to get us all familiar with a job at Deloitte.
I have really learned to assess myself, in what I am good at and then find areas of improvement to make myself the best possible person. It really helped me be a better me. Also I have improved my communication skills through the different exercises we conducted in. This has made me confident in approaching people.
Overall I thought that the programme was a learning curve. It certainly allowed me to cancel out accounting as my future career as I really did not enjoy the processes involved in the case study. It was boring. I did enjoy meeting new people and communicating to different types of people. However the job field was not suitable for me.
The programme was pretty well organized. The people that talked to us really did know how to handle our age teenagers. The day consisted of morning activities then breaks, then some ice breakers, then lunch then an evening activity. They made sure we were all engaged in the activities also.

If you like the job, yes I certainly would recommend it. I've heard all the incentives they offer if you work there. Also it's one of the best accounting companied in the world. Your future is basically sorted when you join the company. A great place also to transfer jobs.
Be yourself.
