  • 5. How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?
  • A lot. Staff members came in and spoke about their time at the company, their progression in the company and also what things they value during working there. This helped me understand what incentives are worthwhile for a company to offer to its employees in ensuring the staff are well looked after.

  • 6. How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?
  • I was not extremely interested in business but the work experience did help me develop a lot of skills which are definitely transferable to other fields of work, hence I do still appreciate the opportunity although it may not directly link to my future career path which I wish to take.

  • 7. Were you paid or reimbursed for this experience?
  • All travel costs were able to be reimbursed with sufficient evidence provided, although it probably takes some time for the money to come through ... around a month or two I would assume. I was not paid for the week but lunch was offered daily meaning costs were minimal for attending.

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
  • Yes, employees did come daily and special events were hosted for staff and experience employees to interact. This meant we learnt a lot about the company and also working in general. Networking was minimal but if asked am sure would be possible to network properly. Overall, a good level of staff interaction involved.
