  • The training at SGRE has been amazing, especially the training centre in Hull

  • I believe the first year could of been more organised, whilst at college I felt a little isolated from the company.

  • Whenever you need support they will provide it in abundance, but they don't proactively provide support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have used Tyne Metropolitan College and HETA and in terms of support they have both been great.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The college qualification in very broad, the work we do is quite specialised therefore I'd like the course to be more tailored to turbines.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Siemens are great in creating a team morale, for example we have just had a TT Opex, I chance for techs to get together and discuss ideas.

  • Yes
