Turbine tech, working offshore, fixing and maintaining 6.3MW WTG
The training at SGRE has been amazing, especially the training centre in Hull
Best decision I've ever made
I believe the first year could of been more organised, whilst at college I felt a little isolated from the company.
Whenever you need support they will provide it in abundance, but they don't proactively provide support.
We have used Tyne Metropolitan College and HETA and in terms of support they have both been great.
The college qualification in very broad, the work we do is quite specialised therefore I'd like the course to be more tailored to turbines.
Siemens are great in creating a team morale, for example we have just had a TT Opex, I chance for techs to get together and discuss ideas.
Yes
Great company, booming industry.
Just go for it!
