I work in the insights and analytics department, advising brands and markets on new trends and insights using multiple data sources that could guide new product launches and campaigns.
Project management and managing a wider work load are a few of many key skills I have learnt as I have been given more responsibility and more complex projects moving from my level 3 to level 6.
Very much so, the programme is diverse and is based around apprentice development and constantly learning meaning when you have learnt you can from one space of the business you move onto the next thing.
Very well, the business works well with the provider to give a well structured programme over the 3-4 years you are on the course and in the company.
I have weekly catch ups with my manager and have monthly mentoring from more senior members of the business. I would say support is easily accessible for any apprentice that needs or asks for it.
I again have monthly catch ups with my university tutor to talk over my progress, any problems I am currently having and also to discuss any new topics and work towards improving my level of work.
I think the degree I am studying towards is incredibly relevant to my line of work. The modules I learn are easily relatable to my knowledge of my business and I would say i now have a better understanding of how businesses function.
For anyone wanting to extend their work outside their 9-5 there are plenty of opportunities that can be taken advantage of. These are done based on apprentices being proactive and setting this up however once there is an interest there is plently else to do.
