  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not that I know off, I have heard that they do small football tournaments in the summer but I am quite new to the business so I do not know what extra-curricular activities they carry out, once I am more experienced in the business I might find more activites that might be on.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Siemens to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • They are very successful company and really care about their Apprentices and they want the best for all of us. I have heard that some companies just get apprentices for cheap labour etc but this is not the case with siemens they want to train people to become good engineers and people.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens?
  • I would say just be open minded to coming into the business if they get the job. From my own experience I feel I was not the smartest person but I was very confident and open minded about coming in and now I feel I am suitably fitted within the company and progressing well.
