My role as a 1st year engineering tech at bae Systems includes five days a week to study at Anniesland College for a hnc in engineering systems and a svq level 2 where I take part in practical work like welding, electrical wiring, pipe work and metal work
I’ve learned lots of new practical skills during my svq level 2 and new mathematics and English skill in my hnc
I really enjoy going to college and learning new practical skills in the work shop
My program is very well structured, there is many people I can to go for support if needed
I have many ways to ask for help in college I have my training officer for bae Systems and many college staff looking out for me
My training officer comes in weekly to see how we are doing and ask any questions if needed
The work i do in college is directly linked to the work bae Systems.
