Technology strategy and architecture business advisory analyst. This role involves interacting with clients to find solutions to and produce a high standard of end client deliverable. day to day i work on excel and powerpoint to perfect deliverables as well as interact with clients through meetings and workshops in order to meet requirements.
I have learnt many new skills including how to professionally interact with clients as well as many IT, excel and powerpoint skills. Through the introductory programme and on the job learning i have enhanced skills in both IT itself aswell as interaction skills such as that of dealing with clients in a professional manner
i enjoy the program due to the friendless of other employees and the work we carry out. The work on a day to day basis is what i have wanted to do since in school and the team helps this work become easier. deloitte offers a good culture and is understanding and very supporting of all employees needs
the programme includes a great induction programme as well as good training and support. the firm also provides many points for support. The overall programme is good but could do with some better organisation and a more strict structure when it comes to a balance between university, work itself, and revision time for university exams and coursework etc.
deloitte offers a very wide range of support through offering each employee their own buddy, their own coaches as well as deans, sponsors and more. There is also regular check ins with your project manager, your coached and all other managerial staff who are all willing to help with problems or concerns. there is a positive attitude towards supporting all employees
the amount of support is overall good although could do with more revision time for university exams. our university tutor and work managers have been working towards improving this through providing more revision time for exams but still is currently quite poor. I enjoy the unviersity that is offered but would benefit from performing to my best in this by being given more time to revise
deloitte offers real-life working experience and a good introductory programme allowing us to perform to our best in our role. Our knowledge gained through universty has also played a good part in helping us to understand the business world and adapt and perform to the best of our ability in our roles
university offers sports teams but unfortunately we cannot join these due to interferring with work. there is however the off football tournament that takes place between departments in work. there is a vast amount of networking events held within deloitte which are very enjoyable and a good way to get to know our colleagues
Yes
deloittes brightstart schemes offers the best of both worlds and offers a scheme which in my eyes would be silly to turn away. By getting your university degree paid for, by getting on-the-job real life experience working for one of the biggest consultancy firms to getting a competitive salary straight from leaving school.
put your all into the application process and interviews as the opportunity and experience deloitte offers is brilliant. The application process is difficult but it is important to be yourself and ensure to do the correct preparation for interviews. have a look online for help with interviews and ensure you have adequate knowledge of the firm itself before applying
