  • Help users with IT problems, build laptops, support users remotely, fix printers. help support 3 building, look into network issues, help users with software issues, help new starters get set up, help big events with IT, e.g. inductions, company events, fix monitors, set up surfacehubs, projectors and other IT experiment

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my confidence as i speak to a lot of users who are on different grades, i have developed my general knowledge of IT as i help users with problems and i am learning as i go along, i have learnt more about time management and how to improve it.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy it because each day is different and some days i am really busy and some days it is quiet, my colleagues treat me like another employee and not as an apprentice, I enjoy my training as i can do it from home where it is quiet and not as busy as the office.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is structured well, i have set days where i need to do my training and set exam days, so i can plan according to it also i get emails really quick if there are any changes and i can work around it, also i know about progression during and after my apprenticeship.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support, i have a mentor in my team and an mentor who is quite senior, i can ask any questions and i know i will get a response, i have regular meeting where people check how i am doing and how i am progressing here.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from my training provider when i am working, i have monthly meeting with my adviser and we talk about training and general work, i get emails from the support team and from my tutors to keep me updated on work i have completed before,

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe that the qualification i am receiving is helping in in my role as i am learning things which i do day to day and the things which i will do in my future, i have learnt a lot so far and hope to keep updated on my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes i can get involved in team lunches/ gym/ regular networking events and company events and me and my colleagues have monthly Pizza lunches, i can also get involved in volunteering which is normally during my working hours but it can be out of hours as well if we decide.

  • Yes

  • I would recommend Capgemini to people because It is a really good place to work with friendly people who support you and there is a big scope to progress up and scope to move around the company by doing training courses, it is also flexible on working hours for you.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • The advice i would give to people applying here is to practice your Interview, and make it simple and honest, also i would research the company before hand as this helps and impresses the hiring managers/HR and also sound enthusiastic and dont worry if you ask to many questions.
