- AMS Message Broker Developer (TfL Congestion Charge) This involves developing and supporting a system that is currently live. Every day is different and this is why I enjoy it. Some days I'll be developing code other days analyzing problems and solving production issues.

Great programme, got to know a lot of excellent people throughout the scheme, and also learn some great people and business skills whilst attending the mandatory training courses.
I feel valued as a member of the organization due to many comments during my reviews and praises from my project managers whilst reviewing my performance. These showed that the knowledge I have gained in a short period of time have been exceptional.
Very well structured programme. The induction training for 2 weeks if very useful for you to get an understanding of the business along with some core key skills that are applicable to any job. The support from managers is exceptional and the planned mandatory training is enough to allow you time to complete specific project related but enough to allow you to pass the scheme in under 2 years.
The support is available at any time if required. This allows you to feel supported throughout the whole programme.
I have received support from my employer from day 1. I experienced some problems with payroll to start with and these were sorted very promptly. Which was impressive. My project mentor and managers have been supportive throughout and couldn't ask for anything else from them weather it's a technical question or a basic business question these are always answered with prompt good advice.
I have quite a way to travel to my location which increases my fuel costs however I would say that the salary/package that I am currently on satisfy the amount of daily costs I have with work.
Plenty to get involved in at IBM. Lot's of clubs, events, out of hours activities to enjoy and pursue. To help you build a network of colleagues that may be useful in the future. Other locations other than my own have sports facilities along with a pub onsite.
