I work in the Corporate Trust team, primarily on the admin section of the team. On a day to day basis I have overall responsibility for the admin team's inbox; from this I respond to queries and allocate the work between the team. I have a lot of interaction with the lenders and borrowers and also solicitors working on behalf of both sides. Another aspect of my role is reconciling our database and submitting quarterly reports to our clients.
I have learnt a lot of new skills since joining the team, as prior to working here I had no experience of the industry. I have developed my general confidence in communicating with clients. My Excel skills have improved greatly and I have been on several courses provided by M&G to help with this.
I have joined a great team who have helped me easily settle into M&G.
I have felt valued by my team since joining M&G and this has been highlighted by the responsibilities I have been given despite only being here a relatively short amount of time.
The first training provider I had was not great and I think this delayed my progress with my apprenticeship initially. However since switching providers, the support has been a lot better and my programme has had a clear structure which has allowed me to progress well. The support from my team has been great since joining, especially in terms of studying for my exams.
Since switching training providers, the support has been very good. We have scheduled meetings every month and I can contact my tutor with any questions/queries at any time.
The support I have received from my team has been very good and helped me progress well and gain responsibilities within the team.
My salary covers all of my necessary living costs well.
My team have a lot of external clients and we therefore are inviting to lots of events throughout the year. M&G also hold several events which I am invited to.

I think it is a great company to work for with plenty of opportunities. There is a nice culture at M&G and you feel supported and valued when working here.
Show interest in the company and take the time to research the team you are applying for. The application process is quite lengthy, however it is all very straightforward and ultimately worthwhile.
