Working as a Packing Operator on-line. This involved me working in a GMP environment while performing quality critical tasks to the best of my ability to ensure patient welfare; ensuring tasks are performed right first time inline with SOP's. While on my Apprenticeship I worked with various teams using a number of different packing technologies.
I have learnt multiple new skills such as: Taking responsibility, holding people accountable for their actions and enhancing my people skills. I have developed my ability to communicate with other teams and people while remaining in contact with previous teams and managers. This has allowed me to advance onwards from my Apprenticeship.
I have enjoyed this programme significantly and would recommend it to anyone who wants to enter the workplace post A-levels. It is entirely different to full-time education and his allowed me to thrive in the work place. I have met many new people and have made friends with them e.

The structure of the Apprenticeship allowed for me to receive support whenever it was needed over the two years.
Macclesfield College offered additional training to those who required it. All my training was performed on my study day where the bulk of all training was delivered. Macc College was supportive of myself come the end of the 2 years where I had outstanding work due to Holidays - They were flexible in helping me achieve my goal.
Macclesfield College offered additional training to those who required it. All my training was performed on my study day where the bulk of all training was delivered. The qualification I received from College would have been applicable to my role if I had stayed in Packing - I have moved into Supply Chain where it is no longer of use.
Yes there are multiple activities for me to participate in; rounders, gym, football and running. There are multiple networking events where I can attend and network with Grads, other Apprentices and AZ employees across the site and Globe. This has enhanced my Networks within AZ - Allowing me to collaborate with other areas on site in my new role.
Yes
An Amazing place to work - Someone is always looking out for you and looking for the best path for you to take. Your opinion is valued even though you are an Apprentice and you are looked after as you were an AZ employee. Best decision I have made with regards to my career.
Be yourself. Ask questions. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Meet new people. Open minded. Express your views. Prep for everything. Visit new areas. Build a network. Use your Network. If you don't like something, change it. Work to the best of your ability and let your mentor know if your having issues.
