My main role is to make sure all the machines are kept in good running condition. I also take part in side service jobs. Part of my job is also to monitor all the equipment to make it as efficient as possible. It also covers co operations with different departments.
Working with side services allowed my to expand the knowledge gained at college such as bench fitting file use. Helping other engineers allowed my to expand my electrical knowledge and different aproches to solve problems. They also showed my the way of systematic problem solving. I improved the communication with different departments.
I really like the area that this programme covers by that I mean that it covers all aspects of the engineering. Them 6 weeks at college allowes me to cover the main knowledge and than I have 12 weeks to practice and improve all the skills that I will need
I think the plan in the college is well organised so do the time at tulip . By the only concern is that we studying for 6 weeks than we go back for 12weeks we couping with reality and than we don't remember most of the thing we learnt. I think it will be better to have 6 weeks at college and 6 at work
In my own opinion tulip helps a lot to achieve the qualification. They also support students financially . They organised hotel for the students. The most help I get from the engineers that work on side. I also got a tutor ( mentor) on side that I can talk to about any problem
Our tutors are very helpful and always trying to explain any problem as detailed as possible. We can always go to them if we are unsure about anything and ask. They are very helpful either in theory side or the practical side. College tutors we can always get help from.
I think that the qualification that we getting is really helpful it cooperate well with our work. It helps us to fill in the missing knowledge and developed it even further. I think college cooperate with work and fills the brain with most usefully and necessary knowledge. I think it works well
We don't have many events except curry night once a while where we can talk . We don't have many events except curry night once a while where we can talk . We don't have many events except curry night once a while where we can talk about anything and bring team closer
Yes
I think that tulip is a place where young people can developed themselves it gives them opportunity for getting their qualification in alternative way . It gives people the option to choose their career way and improve with tulip on that. Choosing the career tulip will also help to achieve their goals
Make sure you are self confident motivated and organised if tulip will notice that you trying your best they will do anything to make sure you achieve your goal.
