I really enjoy the experience from the University days to the working days there is a good balance and time to spend the money your making. I enjoy coming to work every morning and tackling the ever changing problems I face.
It is very well organised the structure of the University day is fast paced but very informative at the same time. In my job I get to change roles every 8 months which gives me lots of experience all around IT.
I think this depends on your manager, my manager is really supportive but also sets me a challenge. he Finds a good balance which is important.
University is a lot more independent than High School and College but I still feel like the lectures will be there if I absolutely need them, However they force you to explore every avenue to fix the problem yourself and use them as a last resort.
I think that the things I have learned at University have helped me understand basic principles,
There are loads of event in and out of work, our office had gym classes and football games at lunch and after work that I participate in as well as activities with other apprentices outside of work.
