Work experience student. Given tasks such as drafting witness statements, summarising leasehold deeds, drafting charity event invitations. Given quite a lot of responsibility on the whole. Went to a coffee meeting outside of the office. Also given presentations each day that helped give an insight into a career in law.
Developed organisational and communication skills.
Work can be tedious at times, but trainee solicitors are very friendly and helpful.
Feel very valued as given a lot of responsibility.
Programme is very well structured with every hour accounted for. Gives a lot of variety as you work in a different department each day.
