  • Great leaders in the Supply Chain who motivate and coach. Positive company culture including flexible independent working. Good working environment and office space. Challenging work, but given the support. Given the platform to suggest and implement change. Impressive career opportunities.

  • Great induction, visited different locations of the business. Mentor system in place. Supported with training. On the job is great, clear roles and rotations around the Supply Chain.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Could not ask for more, there are lots of support networks available i.e. academy team, line managers, mentors, HR, previous cohorts of apprentices, university, and more.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • up to 1-1 if needed. COVID made this harder, but still had support.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I found majority of learning is through the opportunities Nestle provide. The academic side usually reinforces what has already been learned at the business. We often found we already knew about the qualification topics before the lessons, whereas other apprentices from other companies did not.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Pre COVID lots of academy nights out, function days, conferences and work trips etc. 2 volunteering days per year.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Nestle to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Came off apprenticeship at a manager level. They offer great benefits, rewarding work, relaxed but motivational culture. There is lots of support for apprentices, and overall a great opportunity to join the leading global food and drink business.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nestle?
  • Tips for interview: Research the function you are applying to, as well as the company, think why do you want to work in that particular area? Be yourself, be genuine, but make sure you are passionate and enthusiastic. Think creatively, how can we work differently to improve?
