My role involves working within the quality department, providing support to the compliance function and to the factory quality team in ensuring we are always compliant and producing to a high standard. The role involves liasing with all departments in the factory to ensure they are compliant and that the business is functioning to a high standard
Throughout the apprenticeship my skills have developed in many areas from communication and team working skills Which I develop on a day to day basis, to problem solving and attention to detail which is important to my role, to innovation and determination that enables me to make a difference everyday
I enjoy working with the different departments, using their expertise to develop my own skills. I like how my course and the networking opportunities allow me to understand all aspects of the role and allow me to make a difference and make an impact on the factory and on the outputs
The programme is well organised, my employee is very flexible in allowing me to complete university work and learn new skills making the two work well hand in hand. The organisation means that support is always available and the vast amount of opportunities available at Nestle ensures that I always get exposure to new experiences when required
My employer is very supportive of the programme, provides me with all the help and experience I need whilst also ensuring the university are meeting their requirements. My employers is engaged with my course and ensure support is provided and deadlines are met. They are flexible and allow me to manage my time to achieve the best results
Lots of support - always on hand when needed and offer support between block study weeks. There are multiple means of communication with the training provider however they make the course as flexible as possible to fit in with busy work schedules. They have a good understanding of the industry and therefore work along side you to get the best results
This allows me to see other sides of the business that I would not necessarily discover in my day to day role. It also helps me to understand basic theories and how these can be applied differently in different businesses and in different scenarios, meaning that I always get a rich exposure
The team at work are great in ensureing that team building happens including team days and social events. The business also ncouragrs networking through Skype and site visits. The course also supports this as you engage with a wide network of people from all different levels and businesses allowing you to meet lots of people
Yes
