Dealing with spend and contract management - networking where possible with various people across the bank, enabling me to gain a deeper understanding of various departments and therefore the industry as a whole.
Analytical skills, basic - and improving my communication, becoming more knowledgeable of the industry as a whole, also become more aware as what I want personally in the future and how to progress to get there
I am really enjoying this program mainly due to the strong culture within UBS, encouraging diversity and inclusion - regardless of hierarchy everyone I have met is welcoming which contributes to a positive working environment.
We are well aware of what is next and upcoming in advance, given support for the program and are encouraged to ask for help when needed
A lot of support - gaining a mentor from the company, a point of contact and a skill coach.
Quarterly/Monthly meetings with skills coach and regular training days
Gives us a better understanding and more knowledge of the industry a s a whole - helping us to apply theoretical knowledge on say equities and bonds throughout the bank
Regular social meet ups within the apprentices' - i.e. drinks and a Christmas party
