Monitor supplier performance - integrated facilities management The systematic measurement and governance of contract performance – Service Level and KPI compliance (metrics management). Positively encourage and recognise innovation and propose changes which are deemed as continuous improvement - using mainly software tools such as Tableau to create high level dashboards. conducting stakeholder management
Yes, I have been a numerous amount of courses - ones that help me with my day-to-day job, such as Excel, Presentation skills and I have also had one-to-ones with Tableau experts in my team who have taught me a lot about the data reporting tool. There are many opportunities available.
I enjoy it very much. My team are very supportive and any problems I face they help me with. My line manager spends 3 hours a week with me just to go over things I have any problems with/ need extra support on. They will always go the extra mile.
My programme is very well structured. I know when my exams are and when coursework is due and I receive support on both by my team and learning and development coach from Arch. My learning and development coach will always check on me throughout to ensure everything is going well.
A lot of support. Anything I have issues with, they make it a priority to help me! My line manager in particular spends 3 hours a week with me just to make sure that the tasks I am working on are okay and that I have no issues with them.
A lot of support. I have meetings every month with my learning and development coach. There have been times when I have been unhappy with their organization however when communicating this to my learning and development coach she assures me it wont happen again and gets to the root cause.
Very well. It helps me build a good understanding of businesses - stakeholder management and ways to approach tasks and to think like a business analyst. Approaching tasks is a lot easier as you are required to think a certain way and the training courses I go on help achieve this.
Yes we have a number of various societies and clubs to get involved in! I have been to a number of events where the societies help promote their clubs and have people throughout the bank sign up. It is a good way to make connections across the business very well.
Yes
UBS has such a friendly work culture. Everyone is so friendly and supportive. People at such high levels are interested in encouraging young talent and therefore invest time and resources into supporting us as apprentices! I am so glad I got this apprenticeship and took it! I would highly recommend.
Do your research beforehand! As long as they can see you have a genuine interest and are willing to learn you will succeed. They will be able to spot if you are lying! Always ask questions and ensure you find out more about the role and your employer and company.
