My role includes lots of interaction with senior people and maintaining large spreadsheets of data
My confidence has grown since joining the company, as well as my knowledge of the financial sector as a whole
I thoroughly enjoy the programme, the team I work in and the company as a whole has been extremely welcoming.
It is well structured. HR do a great job of giving all apprentices the chance to socialise and enjoy the experience.
Loads of support. UBS have been great in terms of understanding my knowledge range, as well as not working us too hard and giving us sufficient time to study.
The training provider isn't very involved, we have rare 1 to 1 catchups that aren't too helpful, however the actual learning courses for the exams are very helpful.
the qualification has helped me to understand financial services in much greater knowledge than before and is a good kick starter for a career in the industry.
There is a load of networking events to get involved in, as well as an on site gym to help keep me active, with my team being very supportive of taking time out of the day to go.
Yes
It is a very welcoming bank, with a real focus on culture, UBS allows apprentices to take on lots of responsibility, whilst at the same time, ensuring we are not worked too hard and help us to balance study with work very effectively.
I would advise to research the roles thoroughly before applying, as there are so many to choose from it can be difficult to know what area would suit you best.
