  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • For a well known and established company who have been doing apprenticeship for many years, I was slightly shocked at how there were areas in the structure of the programme which needed addressing. However, most issues have now been addressed and those that haven't are being looked into in order for the program to work for myself.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The employer gives me enough support in order to succeed in my apprenticeship. Helping me over come issues and supports me to excel in my role. • 9a. Would you recommend AstraZeneca to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a well establish company, where you can gain strong industry knowledge along-side gaining a degree needed to support a future career within AstraZeneca or elsewhere. It gives you opportunities to meet knew people of all ages, strengthening personal skills of communication, enabling me to make a strong group of friends that helps with every day working.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AstraZeneca?
  • I would try to get involved with as much as possible within the company. I would not start the apprenticeship with the mindset of it being an easy option as a lot of time is needed both personal time outside of work and within, in order to achieve the highest marks. But overall it is a company which will give you a strong platform for your future goals.
