I am an apprentice HGV technician. I work with my mentor doing jobs what help me learn. I help my mentor a lot doing jobs like working on engines and smaller jobs like changing a headlamp.
Yes. Everything I have learned to do on a HGV I have learned here.
I really enjoy my programme. Everyday I really enjoy going to work and there is not a day where I do not enjoy it.
It is very well organised. It starts simple so I got an understanding of what is expected and what the future holds and it progresses in difficulty
I receive a lot of support. Everyday my my employer will ask me if I am doing well and make sure I always have something to do.

I feel like I always have a standard to get to. This helps me push towards where I have to be ensuring I don’t fall behind.

I feel like they are thoroughly behind me in what I do in making sure I am doing well and making sure I am enjoying my time there.
If you apply and you get the job then you will feel like it is a pleasure working there. You never feel like you have to be there you feel like you want to be there.
