My job role is apprentice HGV technician at imperial I learn the understandings of diagnosing and maintaining trucks from my given mentor to follow and learn from them. Things my job does is to prepare trucks for MOT and also diagnose any problems giving to us by customers e.g. wiring faults, engine management lights by understanding the procedure through DAVIE and RMI given by DAF.
Since I started imperial commercials Bellshill has boosted my knowledge on engines and the basic knowledge of trucks and cars and how to diagnose the problems given to us also i have boosted my skills for the company to one day make the company money soon and also after my apprenticeship.
I joined this programme because I wanted to become a HGV technician as I have always loved cars and trucks and the understandings of engines at imperial I have really lived up to expectations here and I will continue to enjoy myself here at imperial and enjoy every job I do here as that involves cleaning up and doing a job on a truck.
The programme is very well structured as the apprentices before me has done well in life and now are master technicians and some of the best in Scotland as I will led to follow in there footsteps and become one of the best through this programme. At imperial everything is very ell organised by the workshop mangers

There is no extra curricular activities at my work but I am opened and interested at any new challenges flung at me and will be open in asking about this for the workshop and will ask my employer to look into this for us I hoe one day be involved in activities through imperial.
