My role is to provide admin support to my team. I am currently working in Housing Solutions and delivering huge projects for E.ON. On daily bases I complete spreadsheets from data/Attend customer meetings/arrange calendars/creating new ideas within my department/presenting data/taking meeting minutes/Completing LPO
I am good team player. This is absolutely vital when progressing in your career. It’s imperative that your team can lean on you when they are either busy or on holiday etc. This allows them to build trust in your ability and allows you to progress your skills with no restrictions.
I completely enjoy the apprenticeship programme. Its evident that the people at E.on care for the progression of their apprentices. They are very supportive and if you have any problems, they are flexible and understandable. They are flexible with work hours and ensure you have time for not only work, but your personal life.
Its extremely organized! They have lots of managers in my team, which allows me to get exposure to all the highly qualified staff. Even though they have a authoritative role, they make a point of ensuring you are welcome. The managers are keen to show you their skills and honestly care for your development.
My managers support me in every way possible. They are flexible with hours and holiday. They also allocate time in your calendar so you have plenty of time to complete your apprenticeship work. They also support your development by doing continuous 1-2-1s with your manager. This way they can give you constant feedback.
Remit are on the ball 24/7. They are just a call away if you have an issue, and will take the time to show you how to do something if you are unsure. They understand that you also have commitments/deadlines with work, so they are fair with their deadlines.
They ensure that I am happy, and if i do have any issues, they don't mind stepping to help voice concerns. They constantly work on your maths/English skills which allows you to perform better within your role. They also ensure all you development plans are completed so you are striving for targets.
Yes. We just recently had an apprentice fair where we celebrated all our apprentices by doing a award day. We also did a Q&A so if their was new apprentices they would get some insight on the apprenticeship. We also do E.on choir and support many charities.
Yes
They want you to be the best you. They understand that the way they treat you, is going to have huge effect on the customer. They are understanding and flexible. They ensure that your physical and mental health is good and have lot of services to support that. Its amazing!
Just keep an eye on E.on website or indeed. make sure you read through your application. Overall just be confident and show that you want it. Make sure you stand out from the rest.
