As an apprentice with bam I have developed so many skills. I get on-site experience and also the knowledge I need in college. At the moment I am on site and my day to day job is assisting other QSs in completing subcontract orders for the job. I would HIGHLY recommend undertaking this apprenticeship and opening your eyes to the construction industry.
I have developed life skills while living away in Leeds but also many social skills. On-site I have developed the knowledge and skills to full fill my role within the team and now I can offer assistance if it is needed. In college, you will also develop skills that will assist you in your job role that is beneficial to your role in the company.
I really enjoy the programme a lot and I would recommend it to anyone. I started straight out of secondary school and it taught me to grow up very quickly. I have really enjoyed my time on this programme so far and I'm really looking forward to completing it and becoming a full-time member of the team.
