I am a customer advisor I help customers face to face also on the telephone. I give them advice on their purchase and point them in the right direction of the item they require. I serve customers at the till and also deal with customers who wish to return items to the store for a exchange or refund.I process Click and Collect orders when a customer calls to collect their order.
I am constantly learning new skill and developing existing skills. Through my apprentiship I'm am learning new things every day I'm really enjoying learning new skills and putting them into practice in the store, and everyday life . I hope to continue to learn more as I complete more of my apprenticeship
I enjoy learning and it's making me feel good about myself. I really like to see happy customer in store and the apprenticeship it showing me exactly how to please the customers and keep them returning . I also like all the extra English and Maths that we can complete as part of our apprentiship
It is very well organized and split into different sections which are plain to see how much you have to do and a manageable size .You can clearly work out how much work you need to complete each week. It shows you clearly If its a activity sheet a video or read only information .
My employer has been very encouraging and supportive and I know I can approach them if I require any further info or any help with a certain activity. They seem really interested in the programme and can see I'm enjoying doing it . They take a interest in the work I have completed
My training provider has been fantastic they are only a email or call away should I need any help.My regional trainer has talked through the course with me and has let me know which modules I need to complete before our next meeting . My trainer has also emailed me helpful information regarding the course.
I can already noticed that I am putting into practice the things I have already learnt and I continue to learn more each day this will really help with my role as front end Customer Advisor and will help with positive feedback for our store . I'm looking forward to learning more as my course progresses .
We from time to time organize social activities which could be just a drink or something to eat. We also do team fund raising in-store and try to include everyone at Easter we are all dressing up to raise money for charity. We have also just celebrated a big birthday as it had been 50 years since the first store opened .

Everyone in store is friendly and easy to get on with. All the management pull together and are not afraid to get stuck in when the store is busy. We have great rates of pay and conditions at work are also very good . We are well looked after by our managers .
Be yourself . Keep a copy of your Rota and check it each shift as they can change. Be smart in appearance and on time for your shifts. If any questions ask your team leader . Be prepared to work as a team and also alone . Overtime will be given when the store is busy
