Commercial Finance Funding Review

Commercial Finance Funding - In Commercial Finance we provide funding to Dealers to purchase vehicles from Auction, Manufacturers, general public to be able to sales these to the public. We loan them a percentage of the cost of the vehicle and then charge them an initial fee together with monthly interest on the amount that is loaned to them. We also provide property loans for dealers to improve the retailing sites and to build or refurbish existing sites.

Additional knowledge I have gained - I have gained a knowledge on where all departments stand within the business. For example my team (Commercial Finance Funding) works closely with Credit management. I also have a better overview of how the Financial services works and how all teams wouldn't work without everyone of us working together. - I have gained a wider understanding of the roll and the programs we use on a daily basis. Skills I have learned or improved - I have improved my knowledge of the BMW financial group. I have learnt what departments do within the company and what roles they play, and how they work within each other. I have learnt there is a retail and commercial side of the business.

I really enjoy working for BMW FINACIAL SERVICES and I feel like I have bee welcomed to the comapny very well. I really enojoy working with my team and they make the whole experiance of studying again more enjoyable. I am really enjoying the programme I am on as I have gained a very wide understanding of what we do and the programs that are used and also what happens on the reail saide of things.

I think the Programme is well orginsed as we have distinct deadlines. However I have learnt throughout the programme their is no work relating to the roll I am doing in the work place compairs to the apprentaces. I feel like it would be better if me and my fellow apprentances would benifit if we learnt all the rolls within operartions

I receive alot of support. I get support from my Manger when ever I ask or when he thinks I need it. My whole team support me and help me answer question or explain some question to me that I dont understand. My other apprentnaces support me with work and we work as a tema to complete work I also have had alot of meetings and overviews from other teams to help me undertsand there role and FS so much better.

I feel like my Mentor is always there to help me when I am need. He answered texts and emails very proptly and always gives me alot of support and help. When I have my reveiws with my Mentor he also helps very well with getting my work to the next level.

I feel like the qualification I am studying helps me very well with my role is BMW FS as i have gained a wide understanding with all rolls within operrations HOWEVER in the qualification work there is no relation to my job roll in this comapir to other apprentaces. I feel like having a topic on my roll would really of benifited me.

There is extra curricular activities at BMW FS that we can all get involved it from playing table tenis after work with some new people, to networking with people we have not met, to spending an evening here to a team building excerise. All of us have been very welcomed in to all of these!

I would recomend BMW FS to a friend or family memeber because even though I have only been here for 7 months I feel like I have been here for ages. I love my job and the people I work with, the place is very friendly and welcoming. You can come into this role with little confedence and the people here build you up and help you become the best you can be.

Working for BMW FS was my dream job. My advise to other for applying here would to be never give up. If you dont get accepted for one job role that does not mean your not good enough. Apply for something else ! Be yourself, be confident and whilling to learn new things!
