In my job I perform audit for many clients all over the essex region and sometimes in london. this can be with large or small companies or even education and charity businesses. I perform a range of tasks, and have already seen a lot of what the job has to offer.
I have gained a lot of skills with teamwork and organisation as I have needed to ensure I am at the correct place each day and know what work I need to complete and by when, I have also completed three exams already and passed them all with another 5 this year
I am enjoying my program as it has given me the insight into lots of different businesses and how they run. I have also increased my skills and learned more about myself and how capable I am. I am growing everyday by being with RSM and become a better person
The program is well structured starting with a lot of training and becoming more like a typical job after that. My training is mostly booked for me and I just need to ensure I show up and do well. The job itself is well organised and I am kept informed on what I should be doing
I receive lots of support with automatic days off before exams to study to ensure I am prepared. I have also taken part in lots of training internally which they did not have to provide. I am constantly asked if I am doing okay and feedback after each job helps me reflect
BPP are good training providers with lots of online resources to ensure we are prepared for exams. They provide books for each course including a book full of practice questions. They have good teachers and we recieve emails to make sure we are kept on track which is nice of them
The qualification has been useful however I did ALevel accounting before this role so I have not learned much more so far. However the VAT exam taught me a lot and I have felt the benefit of refreshing myself of the more complex items so far. It has helped support
There are always lots of socials to take part in. So far we have done golf, pizza making, meals out, snooker and there are more to come. These are always fun and help the whole office get to know one another which improves how well we can work together on jobs
Yes
They are kind and supportive and help settle you in. Everyone has been in your position with most of the staff having done the programme. This means they all understand that you'll be asking lots of questions and it makes you feel better and settle in faster. Its fun
It's hard, be prepared, be ready to fight for the role. They only hire the best and when you are in you have to be on your top form as much as you can. They also are ready to help. Everyone is kind and dont be scared. Its fun
