I am a contract administrator for a £500M project, and a change control manager as well as carrying out ad-hoc work.
Yes, I have learnt a lot about change control processes, how to put together a programme and how to engage with stakeholders.
The experience is great, there is a varied amount of work that you need to do on the programme starting from training, to external volunteering days and general project work.
The HR department have a plan in place for what we are going to do and for when, it is well structured.
I receive a lot, especially when it is requested.
I receive a good amount, they give what is required and offer more if it is needed.
My trainer teaches me about my role generally across all industries, it is helpful but not construction related.
Yes, I am doing a triathlon with people in my sector, and have been involved in pub quizzes etc.
