I perform the audits of a large range of different companies. I perform the planning, execution and completion of the audits. I perform tests of detail to determine that the companies financial statements represent a true and fair view of their financial position and are free from material misstatement for the benefit of the shareholders
I have worked on a large number of new areas of the file. These include revenue, accruals, journals, intercompany, investments, interest, accounts payable, accounts receivable and more. In particular, I gained a much better understanding of accounting as a whole, especially the consolidation process for share capital and other equity accounts
I love the programme - I always feel very upset to be leaving the PwC placement since I love everything about it. The people you work with are incredible. You are given really interesting jobs and most importantly the amount that you learn is invaluable. Putting your knowledge into practise is also very rewarding.
Very organised. I always know exactly what I am doing. technology is very well implemented in the job to show you clearly what you are doing, when, and who you will be working with. We are kept informed by our flying start champions who ensure we complete everything we need to
There is a lot of support available and this is made very known to me as an employee. Everyone is eager to help you and go the extra mile to help you learn from your jobs and experiences. They will take the time to help you with any problems you may be facing.
We get a lot of support though it is of course less direct since it is in lecture formats. It is also a lot more independent. Although, I will say that the lecturers are very open to you going in an asking them questions either through email or in person
Easy 10 / 10 for this category. As mentioned above already, putting your knowledge into real practical work really solidifies the knowledge and helps you to understand the knowledge and what it is you are actually doing. And by understanding what you are doing and having them real life examples, this really cements the knowledge in your brain
