My role involves travelling to hospitals and fixing any problems on the equipment. I have to make plan my day y making sure I leave with plenty of time to arrive at the correct hospital and making sure that I have all I need to perform a job on me. My role also involves making sure that the time allocated for a certain call is enough to fix the equipment in order to avoid placing another call and keeping the machine out of service for longer than it should. If extra time or parts ae needed, I will have to let head office know in order to place another call. It is important to make sure that all parts are ready for the next time we come in, in order to make sure the job can be completed.
I have developed my time keeping skills, making sure I am more organized and making sure that my work gets completed on time. I have also developed my problem solving skills during jobs. I can better understand problems and find quick or temporary solutions that can keep customers happy and equipment safe to operate. During my time with Siemens I have also developed my ability to interact with customers and making sure that I understand the environment in which I work in and how some patients have to be treated during important times.
I enjoy all the programme has to offer. I enjoy being independent to make my decisions and prepare my working week. I also enjoy the fact that no two days are the same and it is very interesting knowing how new equipment work and how it makes a real difference in the world. Furthermore I appreciate all the effort my manager places into the work and his ability to help me perform better during my work.
I feel that my programme is very structured and is thinking ahead in order to make sure I achieve my potential and that I have all that is necessary to perform at my best. I also feel safe knowing that the company is ever expanding and that my future can be very successful with Siemens. Furthermore I also feel that my program is the most adequate for my career and that my college course helps improve my ability to work.
I feel that I receive all the support I need from my employer. My employer always makes sure that I am on the right track to complete all my goals and that I have anything I need in order to perform the best I can at my job. My employer also keeps in contact with my college in order to make sure that the college has all the necessary facilities so that I can learn as much as possible during my course.
I feel that more communication could be provided from my training provider at college. From time to time we do have small talks about my progress in college but I feel that more meeting could be done to monitor more closely how I could improve during my qualification and more meeting will also result in making sure that I know what can be done to go forward.
I feel tat my qualification gives me more of a knowledge base for the equipment I will e working on and it goes into more detail how all the equipment works. Furthermore I also think that my qualification helps me to solve problems I may come across and helps me succeed at jobs I could not do before.
At work there are regular team meeting where all the team members gather and can discuss where the company is going and what is being done to improve engineers' jobs and what the company is doing in order to remain ahead of competition. After these meeting there are also social activities with work where engineers can go and enjoy a nice day with the team and relax from work.

Siemens has a lot to offer and it is a growing company which means it is a very secure position. I also feel that the relationship between managers and employees is very good and all is done to make sure that engineers can be the best at their jobs. I would also recommend Siemens to a friend do to the fact there are many bonus Siemens also gives such as cycle to work programs and the opportunity to go and study abroad.
It is important to know that in order to have a rewarding future, a lot of effort is put in to your studies. It is also important to remember that work is put in outside of college hours in order to make sure that you keep on top of all your work and you can meet all your goals.
