My role involves serving customers and ensuring their happy with there food and service,also cooking food ensuring it’s up to scratch with mcondalds gold standard rule,it also involves working as a team with my fellow co workers to make sure everything is clean and up to the correct standard.
Yes I have developed my customer service skills,also before I started working here I lacked a lot of confidence I struggled to speak and mix with other people,but since working there I have started to gain confidence again and that’s with great help from the great managers there.
i love doing my programme or helps me understand the background of where I’m working also helps me understand all the different aspects of the food,catering and hospitality industry,I learn things which help me in my day to day work,it helps me get an understanding of why you do things a certain way.
its structured very well,is it structured where I can go at whatever pace I feel I am capible of going at,it makes it better for me so I don’t have all the stress of meeting certain deadlines and not having to stress about not doing enough work.
i get whatever support i need if i need them to stay back and hlep me with my course work they are happy to do so,they also message me and ring to make sure things are going okay with my work and if there not there more than happy to help.
i get loads of support if im struggling they ring me and help me over the phone with my work,also when they come in to the store if there’s anything I am struggling with or do not understand then there happy to go through things and explain it to me.
i feel that learning the new stuff heklps me develop my skills when working,I feel that the things I learn through my course work helps me to understand why we do certain things when working,helps me understand why we use certain safety equipment when doing the job correctly
no,sometimes we have staff nights out which help to mix with co workers out side gf work it helps to get to know them better and understand why we do what we do and why certain people behave differently,it’s very good to have healthy relationships with them.

its a very friendly place to work everyone gets along and no one is made to feel like they are not welcome there everyone belongs no matter the skin colour hair colour age or weight your made to feel welcome and like your part of the family it’s a lovely atmosphere.
make sure your good with people as the job includes working with people as a team and also working with customers,you have to be able to put up with confrontation with customers and handle it in a professional manor,to ensure you meet Mcdonalds standards you have to be polite.
